"MATEO Timber Peg" - a sturdy wooden joint that can withstand up to 1 ton of weight
A wooden joint designed for traditional wooden construction.
Threaded wooden pegs are made from ash (product No. K304) and beech (product No. K303).
Ash: Strong and flexible (plastic), can withstand a load of up to 0.8 tons.
Beech: load up to 1 ton.
Stable dimensions at 7-8% wood moisture.
Once installed, the peg expands and firmly holds the building components together. When glued with water-resistant adhesives, higher pull-out values are achieved and the joint is further reinforced.
