Specifications
"Paneltwistec 1000" is made of specially coated and hardened carbon steel.
This fastening element is designed for load-bearing wooden structures between components made of solid wood (coniferous wood), laminated wood, laminated veneered wood, or similar glued wood material. There is a milled groove at the end of the thread and a chamfered top above the thread.
Its unique geometry reduces the risk of splitting, and a special coating reduces screw resistance; i.e., the friction between the screw and the wood is significantly reduced.
Material:
- Hardened carbon steel, special "1000" coating;
- Suitable for 1 and 2 usage classes according to DIN EN 1995 - Eurocode 5;
- Withstands up to 1000 hours in a salt spray test according to DIN EN ISO 9227 NSS;
- Corrosion resistance category C4 long/C5-M long according to DIN EN ISO 12944-6;
- Good resistance to mechanical impact;
- Not suitable for tannin-containing wood.
Advantages:
- Highly resistant to corrosion;
- Resistant to mechanical impact;
- The milled thread end and chamfered top ensure quick and easy screwing.
