Specifications

SCRAIL combined screws are a special hybrid of screws and nails, specifically made for many strip or drum nailers.

The principle of SCRAIL is to invest as little time as possible, while achieving the greatest grip strength.

SCRAIL screws are quickly driven into boards using conventional pneumatic nailers. Due to their aggressive thread design, they achieve more than 80 % of the holding power of nails.

Flexibility when needed—an additional advantage over conventional screws: SCRAIL can be easily unscrewed.

Black oxidation is a surface treatment for all BECK‑manufactured stainless steel SCRAIL and screws. Nickel atoms on the stainless-steel surface are chemically oxidized at 266 °F, creating a black finish that offers several benefits. These black‑oxidized fasteners are ideal for natural wood facades and underlays, which darken over time, thus avoiding the glare you’d get from conventional stainless steel.

Advantages

  • Twice as fast as combined nails
  • Eight times faster than loose nails
  • Saves time and labor
  • Suitable for practically all nail connections
  • Compatible with many nailers
  • Quick installation and removal
  • Significantly greater grip strength than conventional screws
  • SCRAIL – in use since 1998
