Damage can occur if moisture from the building's premises can penetrate into the construction's insulation materials. Ordinary plastic films become brittle over time, but due to special processing, "RaniMoBar" will serve for decades. In addition, the Norwegian Building Research Institute has granted the product SINTEF type approval, which is subject to even higher quality criteria. The vapor barrier should not be used if moisture insulation or waterproofing is installed in the structure. Keep the membrane protected from sunlight.
