Specifications
SCRAIL combined screws - a special hybrid of screws and nails - are designed specifically for many strip or drum screwdrivers.
The principle of SCRAIL is to invest as little time as possible, but to have the greatest grip strength.
SCRAIL screws are quickly screwed into boards using conventional pneumatic screwdrivers. Due to the aggressive thread design, SCRAIL screws achieve more than 80% of the holding power of nails.
Flexibility when needed - an additional advantage compared to conventional screws, SCRAIL can be easily unscrewed.
Black oxidation - a new surface treatment for all BECK manufactured stainless steel SCRAIL and screws. Nickel atoms on the surface of stainless steel are chemically oxidized at 266 °F, making the surface black and ensuring several advantages. Black oxidized SCRAIL and screws are perfect for natural wood facades and underlays, which darken significantly, thus avoiding reflections that occur when using conventional stainless steel products.
Usage / features:
- perfect for natural wood facades and decking boards, which darken over time;
- no shiny reflections, as in conventional stainless steel products;
- surface resistant to cleaning and alkaline solutions;
- good adhesion of the oxide layer - the layer is resistant to bending and delamination.
Advantages:
- twice as fast as combined nails;
- 8 times faster than loose nails;
- saves time and labor;
- suitable for practically all nail connections;
- can be used with many screwdrivers;
- fast installation, fast removal;
- significantly greater grip strength than conventional screws;
- SCRAIL - in use since 1998.
