Black oxidation is a new surface treatment method for all stainless steel SCRAIL and screws produced by BECK. Nickel atoms on the surface of stainless steel are chemically oxidized at 266 °F, making the surface black and ensuring several advantages. Black oxidized SCRAIL and screws are perfect for natural wood facades and underlays, which darken significantly, thus avoiding reflections that occur when using regular stainless steel products.
