Specifications

WALCO | Connectors for facades, walls and modular structures up to 21.3 kN.

System advantages:

  • Universal connection of facade, wall and room modules with solid wood, wood materials, steel, concrete and brick masonry.
  • Fast and accurate assembly and disassembly on site due to the V-shaped system
  • High level of assembly
  • Adjustable with millimeter precision
  • Exceptional safety and stability

Heavy wall elements and room modules can be easily and reliably attached using two solid base plates. Universal connection to solid wood, wooden materials, such as cross-laminated timber or OSB boards, steel, concrete or brick masonry, when the wood width is from 80 mm.

Due to the high load capacity, this solution requires only a few joints, which ensures a high level of assembly. The entire building can be quickly and accurately assembled from individual modules, later expanded or modified and disassembled at any time.

Two possible variants of WALCO V base plates:

  • The first variant with a welded support screw, for example, used to connect modular walls.
  • The second variant with a welded metric thread, which allows precise adjustment of distances between elements and thus ensures an accurate facade appearance.

WALCO V joints are used as partners in both cases. Their spacious V-shaped socket allows easy hooking of fastening screws on site and connecting the corresponding elements without tightening screws.

All WALCO system connecting parts are made of hot-dip galvanized steel and are tightened independently. Base plates are adjustable in the axial direction through holes with grooves, distances between joints are also adjustable, e.g., construction deviations can be adjusted. An invisible external additional fixing clamp, made of stainless VA spring steel, locks and secures the corresponding joint with a click, if loads act in the opposite direction to the insertion.
